Vice President Sales (#1397)

Vice President of Sales 
Location: North Jersey 
Salary: $160K - $175K 

This company is ranked in the top consumer health sites and is leading the
healthcare media and advertising space. We pride ourselves in serving the
pharmaceutical, CPG, and Medical Device Industry. 

We are seeking an aggressive sales leader to join our Sales Organization who has
a proven track record of developing a first-class Sales team. This individual
will lead, motivate and manage key clients. 

The ideal candidate will have the following: 
•Pharmaceutical/Healthcare marketing sales management 
•Interactive Media/Advertising space  
•Ability to achieve continued high-growth sales
•Outstanding customer service through direct sales involvement
•Planning, developing and mentoring and implementation of all activities 

Responsibilities include:
•Building, organizing and supervising the sales team with direct responsibility
for achieving group’s target sales quotas
•Formulating and implementing innovative sales strategies
•Drive sales strategy and execution, take responsibility for the sales plan and
sales operations, and manage team to deliver results
•Create a strong market presence to drive awareness of company’s solutions
•Coordinate prospect/client site visits with sales and subject matter experts
•Work with the Product Management group to create enhancement/initiative
requests where we see the need based on prospect feedback
•Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring
specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
•Accurately forecasting of annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams
•Must maintain effective communications with executives and managers across the
company to ensure operational alignment and consistent messaging (internally and
externally)
•Provides information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing customer buying
patterns
•Maintains professional networks by attending conferences, benchmarking
state-of-the art practices; participation in professional societies

Requirements, Skills and Abilities:
 - 5 or more years of developing successful sales teams to achieve/exceed
growth
 - Expertise supporting a team selling in the interactive space
 - Strong qualifying, negotiating, forecasting and closing skills
 - Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously
 - Bachelor’s degree
 - Excellent knowledge of the market and competitive products/services and
pricing practices
 - Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations,
presentation and organizational skills.
