CampaignGrid & World Benefactor Online advertising network for candidates and causes Online Web 2.0 Campaign Manager Given the success of the Obama internet campaign, there is an entire generation of new socially responsible leaders and activists that have powerful Web 2.0 tools available to them to organize others and make the world a better place. Our Company helps political candidates and non profit causes plan and execute online advertising campaigns using the internet and mobile phones to reach supporters, organize volunteers, and raise money. Drawing on our experience of executing 26 national online political campaigns for Congressmen, Senators and Governors in 2008, coupled with a growing client list of 20+ well known non profits, our services are in great demand and we need help. We are looking to find someone special to join our organization that is an internet expert and can help our clients run online campaigns. You must be a creative and energetic individual with a socially conscious entrepreneurial mindset. Having either worked as an e-campaign director for a political campaign or for a progressive non profit in charge of its online activities will be a real plus. The perfect candidate would have experience with Google Adwords and Google grants, would understand donor databases and may have worked with Salesforce.com or Blackbaud. Proficiency in online advertising metrics is a must. Candidate should also have experience in creating email marketing templates, sending email blasts, and measuring e-marketing campaigns . On the creative side, you need to possess creative skills with the ability to create Display Advertising Banners and creative for Political and Nonprofit clients. Fluency in creating Social Media pages on Facebook, Youtube, Ning, Twitter and others is also a requirement. This candidate should want to die to join a cool start up and change the world. The day to day responsibility for this position includes the following requirements: • Working with Google Adword campaigns and Google Analytics. • Working with online databases and Salesforce.com (not a total must, but would improve your chances to get hired). • Create client reports that summarizes their ad campaigns and the metrics around performance. • Create and Manipulate Interactive Flash & Photoshop banner ads. • Create and manipulate landing pages. • Understand CMS based websites and be able to make changes to them for clients. • Provide ongoing graphics support and design/layout execution for political and non profit campaigns • Have Strong communication skills and be very fun to be around. • The ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Experience: • Bachelors degree with interest or emphasis in communications, marketing, advertising, computer science, or related field. • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. • Worked on the Obama Campaign or for a national political campaign (Congress, Senate, Governor). • Worked at a progressive non profit that is using the internet to raise money Skills: • Very proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS • Video Editing tools and YouTube posting Location: Fort Washington, Pennsylvania • Compensation: $20-$25 per hour during three month trial period, which could lead to full time permanent position. • Principals only.
