We’re betting your sock drawer is immaculate. Argyle socks. Tube socks. The little tennis ones with pom-poms on the ankles. No matter what the category, all things are in their right place when a skilled DIGITAL MEDIA PLANNER is tackling the assignment. And that’s who Ignited is looking for right now. Don’t worry, our respective sock drawers are tidy, but we need someone who is an ace at: • Developing so-strategically-sound-it-brings-a-tear-of-admiration digital media plans featuring objectives, tactics and rationale • Making wise and wonderful recommendations on assigned accounts/projects • Providing savvy digital planning support to Sr. Planners, Media Supervisor and VP • Responding to, prioritizing and completing all planning assignments accurately and on time for all media, including online (and maybe even those nifty eggshell ads in the dairy section) • Maintaining assigned accounts, from billing and budget issues to flowcharts and competitive/post-buy analyses. • Conducting and obtaining media research, as well as incorporating it into the planning process (e.g., comScore, Nielsen, TNS, MRI, 3rd Party Ad Serving Systems) • Facilitating internal and external requests to support plan reco’s (e.g., MRI, ComScore/Media Metrix, TRU) • Mentoring and coaching planning/media assistants, making sure i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed on all issued documents • Providing support on new business projects and overloaded colleagues • Staying alert for new thinking in the planning process, as well as sharing trends in media, lifestyle and technology with department and account team • Gaining knowledge about client’s business, as well as media trends that could complement it • Looking for ways to grow professionally while presenting a positive role model within the agency and to outside contacts You’ll mostly be working with Sr. Digital Planners, the Media Supervisor/Assistants, sales reps and clients, rich media vendors, production and creative teams. Checklist-wise, please have: • 1-2 years of digital media planning experience • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in marketing or advertising) • Strong skills in 3rd party ad serving platforms, syndicated research tools, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience working with rich media vendors. • Good communication skills (written/verbal) and presentation skills If this sounds like a job that would knock your socks off (you know we had to go there), please reply with an e-mail describing why even Simon Cowell would sing your praises. We offer an action-packed environment with competitive pay and perks. EOE. PLEASE attach your resume in .DOC or .PDF formats only.
