Digital Media Analytics Manager (#1414)

My client, a leading media and marketing agency seeks experienced digital
analytics pro to provide display media and paid search data analysis for a major
Direct Response client account. This position is ultimately responsible for all
deliverables including but not limited to weekly reporting, driving campaign
optimizations, media and creative tests, creative analysis, budget and
conversion forecasting. The Manager is the primary liaison for Media and Account
teams and should facilitate open communication to ensure the reporting team is
well informed of media activities.

You will:
• Act as primary day-to-day contact on insights and analytics to SEM and online
media managers and clients
• Develop project timelines and deliverable schedules
• Maintain a status on all projects and share with Director project progress,
concerns about meeting deliverables, client issues, etc.
• Manage and mentor analysts on the account to ensure work quality and
professional development
• Perform hands-on analysis of large volumes of transaction and customer level
data for both SEM and online display media
• Create and manage optimization plans to increase client’s marketing
efficiency
• Utilize syndicated research tools for segment, competitive, and media
analysis
• Provide updates to client regarding SEO/SEM synergy and communicate regularly
with clients to discuss metrics and trends
• Act as primary day-to-day contact on insights and analytics to SEM and online
media managers and clients
• Maintain a status on all projects and share with Director project progress,
concerns about meeting deliverables, and client issues.
• Conduct client calls, bringing in extended team members when necessary
• Design and initiate tests in order to continually improve key metrics (Search
ad copy, display creative, landing page, SEM position, technology tests, etc.)
• Build forecasts and budgets based on historical data as part of the planning
process; continually monitor pacing versus forecasts
• Make recommendations on keyword selection and expansion efforts
• Implement new technologies, automation capabilities, and/or vendor solutions
that enhance SEM and display media efforts
Job Requirements:
What you will need to bring :
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Advanced degree preferred
• 4 years related work experience
• Minimum of 1 years of experience with a large Direct Response Advertiser
preferred
• SEO & SEM experience required
• Google Ad Words Professional (GAP) certified a plus.

In addition you need:
• Strong experience with applied analytics, SEO and SEM and Display media
required
• Comprehensive understanding of metrics: Media (e.g. buying models, CPV, VCR,
GRP), Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures (LTV, NPV, ROI,
Churn, etc.), Statistics (Correlations, sample sizing, etc)
• Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
• Experience with syndicated research tools – Nielsen, Comscore, Hitwise,
AdGooroo, etc.
• Experience with DART/Doubleclick, or Atlas.
• Omniture Site Catalyst and Test and Target Experience preferred.
• At least one Year of experience with a large Direct Response Advertiser
preferred
• Experience with SPSS and SAS as well as Database tools (Access, Oracle, SQL) a
plus
