Assistant Media Planner (#1905)

The Assistant Media Planner serves as the Assistant to the planning/execution
team.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible managing campaign coordination for multiple plans
• Manage administrative duties of all media plans/projects on a daily and
monthly basis
• Assist in the planning process on assigned account(s)
• Front desk coverage one day per week
• Pitch in on projects outside immediate realm of responsibility when required

Daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for media invoicing as liaison with the Planning team
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of current media accounting and tracking
systems and learns new ones as needed
• Prepares client estimates and media buy schedules for Supervisor’s review and
ultimately for department and agency in general
• Prepares insertion orders for all media placed (print, online, other) and
maintains the monthly space and materials closing document
          a. This includes positioning requests for all clients
          b. Follows-up with written confirmation to/from media vendors
• Maintains current contract, contact files and media library
• Collects information for the preparation of media plans including media kits,
media costs, syndicated research and competitive analyses

Position Qualifications:

a) Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in marketing or advertising)

b) Special Knowledge or Skills [Software]
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good working skills and knowledge of the Internet

c) Prior Experience: • 1 year Online Media/Advertising experience required
